Katie has spent the last two decades of her life in full time ministry and motherhood. She is the author of several books for women of all ages and is part of the Steubenville Conference Ministry Team. Katie is overjoyed to now serve as the Content Coordinator for She Shall Be Called Woman. Mark is the Vice President of Paradisus Dei, host of Mysteries of the Rosary, and Director of Content for the That Man is You! men's program. Mark & Katie Hartfiel live in Houston, TX with their four children.

She Shall Be Called Woman is a parish-based women’s program that fosters a supportive environment for spiritual growth. Each content year of SHE consists of two 9-week seasons - one in the fall and one in the spring. Each meeting consists of 3 essential elements: fellowship with refreshments, video presentation, and discussion within small groups.

She Shall Be Called Woman is offered to parishes free of charge by Paradisus Dei, a lay ministry in the Catholic Church, 501(c)(3). The program is funded through the generosity of the participants. A Donation Appeal is built into each season. Optional promotional materials are available for purchase, but are not required to run SHE at your parish.

When you partner with Paradisus Dei, you are connected with your own personal Program Coordinator who will walk alongside you every step of the way. In addition to offering support to plan and launch your program, our Program Coordinators are available throughout your journey and will even be praying for you and your group as if you were a part of their own family.
